Zoo Parts Unknown
Humorous. Bonkers. Idiotic.
Talking animals meet a tv-obsessed weirdo in this crazy, pop culture-filled adventure into Zoo Parts Unknown.
THE STORY
Giraffe vs Idiot. A conflict as old as time.
A story about that age-old struggle: idiot vs giraffe.
Earl has a lazy life at Morecambe Zoo. Food delivered, shelter provided, and never-ending amounts of TV on-tap. But one idiot will upend his world, making him play a series of unoriginal and badly-designed challenges in a quest to rescue his zoo pals. And most importantly, make himself famous.
Why? Well, reasons. Decades of reasons.
PRAISE
A very unusual book in a good way. It has a definite personality.

It's so unusual and original... there's a strong narrative pull with an intriguing backstory that keeps you wondering

BEHIND THE BOOK
Why I Wrote
This Story
I've always had an interest in writing stories, especially ones with dumb jokes, weird characters and animals that can, in one way or another, talk.
In 2020 I started Zoo Parts Unknown, mainly because I wanted to finally scratch the itch of writing this book, but also because I was getting a bit tired of reading but couldn't find anything new, easy and fun to read that would help me get back into it. And so I thought - if I write this silly story in a way that is super accessible, maybe someone else will find the joy of reading again through this. Rather than slogging their way through the latest 1,000 page critically acclaimed literary masterpiece of our times!
